3/4 cup light corn syrup
1/4 cup margarine
2 tsp cold water
2 3/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 cup mini white or colored marshmallows
2 tsp vanilla
5 L plain popped popcorn

Steps

Place the popped popcorn in a very large bowl.
Heat the corn syrup, margarine, and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat until bubbling.
Stir in the confectioners’ sugar, marshmallows, and vanilla until smooth, then cook for 3 minutes.
Pour the hot mixture over the popcorn and stir until coated.
Cool the mixture for 5 minutes, then shape it into 12 balls with lightly oiled hands.
Press the sprinkles onto the balls and cool for 5 more minutes.
