Ingredients
- 5/8 cups chocolate wafer crumbs
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 3 packages (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 package (14 2/7 oz) oreo cookies
- 4 oz semisweet chocolate
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- optional: whipped cream and chopped oreo cookies
Steps
- Mix the chocolate wafer crumbs with melted butter, then press them into a 9-inch springform pan.
- Beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then mix in the vanilla.
- Whip 1 1/2 cups of cream until thick, fold it into the cream cheese mixture, and fold in crushed cookies.
- Spread the filling over the crust and chill it for 15 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate, spread it over the cheesecake, and chill it for 10 minutes before adding optional toppings.
