Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp bacon grease
  • 1 bag (10 oz) frozen sweet corn
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 oz cream cheese
  • 3 slices cooked bacon (optional)

Steps

  1. Heat the bacon grease in a large skillet over medium heat for 1 minute.
  2. Add the corn and cook for 6 minutes, stirring often, until heated through.
  3. Stir in the heavy cream, sugar, salt, and pepper, then simmer for 5 minutes.
