Ingredients
- 18 oz pizza dough
- 6 1/2 fully cooked crispy chicken tenders
- 8 oz bag shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 3/4 cup pizza sauce
- 2 tbsp butter
- flour for dough
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F.
- Warm the butter and pizza sauce together in a small saucepan over low heat for 2 minutes.
- Roll the dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
- Toss the chicken tenders with the warm sauce.
- Place the chicken, mozzarella, and Parmesan on one half of the dough.
- Fold the dough over the filling and press the edges closed.
- Bake on a greased baking sheet for 18 to 22 minutes, until golden and the filling reaches 165 F.
