Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 2 large egg yolks
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 large egg
- 1 tbsp water
- powdered sugar - optional
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and lightly oil an 8-inch square baking pan.
- Beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg yolks, vanilla, salt, and lemon juice until smooth.
- Whisk the whole egg with the water, then stir it into the cream cheese mixture.
- Spread the mixture in the pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the center is firm.
- Cool the cheesecake danish in the pan for 10 minutes, then dust it with powdered sugar if using.
