5 large eggs
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 ccup sugar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 scant cup sifted unbleached all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 can (13 2/5 oz) dulce de leche

Steps

Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a 10-by-15-inch pan with oil.
Beat the eggs, salt, sugar, and vanilla for 5 minutes until thick and pale.
Fold in the flour and baking powder, spread the batter in the pan, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
Spread the warm cake with dulce de leche, roll it tightly from one long side, and cool for 20 minutes.
Slice the cake into nine pieces before serving.
