Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 3 lb chicken wings or drumettes
  • 3 tbsp salted butter

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 425 F and line a large baking sheet with foil.
  2. Mix the salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and cayenne in a small bowl.
  3. Coat the chicken wings with the seasoning and arrange them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake the wings for 45 to 50 minutes, turning once, until they reach 165 F.
  5. Melt the butter in a small saucepan, then toss it with the hot wings.
