Ingredients

  • 3 cups + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp liquid honey
  • 9 oz jar of your favorite jam or thick preserves
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 350 F and grease two baking sheets with cooking oil.
  2. Whisk the eggs, sugar, honey, and vinegar in a large bowl.
  3. Stir in the flour and baking soda to make a soft dough, then chill it for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls, place them on the baking sheets, and flatten them slightly.
  5. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the cookies are set, then cool them completely for 20 minutes.
  6. Spread jam on half the cookies, top with the remaining cookies, and dust with powdered sugar.
