Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails
- 1 tsp salt (optional)
- 1 pinch cracked pepper (optional)
- 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic
- 3 slices lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)
Steps
- Cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise and season the meat with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- Place the lobster cut-side down and sear for 3 minutes.
- Turn the lobster, add the butter, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon slices, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Check that the meat reaches 145 F and flakes easily, then spoon the garlic butter over the tails.
- Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
