Ingredients

  • 1 ea. medium potato
  • 6 strips bacon
  • 1 can (28 oz) green beans
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/8 cup sliced almonds

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 425 F and lightly grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
  2. Cut the potato into small cubes, place it in the dish with the bacon, and bake for 25 minutes.
  3. Remove the bacon, crumble it when cool enough to handle, and drain the canned green beans.
  4. Stir the green beans, bacon, salt, and onion powder into the potatoes.
  5. Sprinkle almonds over the top and bake for 10 more minutes until the potatoes are tender.
